The partners of Second Century Stewardship have announced the Request for Proposals for fellowships to support research in Acadia National Park in 2021.
Founded in 2016 by the David Evans Shaw Family Foundation, Second Century Stewardship is a partnership of Schoodic Institute at Acadia National Park, the National Park Service, and the National Park Foundation to advance conservation and ecosystem science and support stewardship of park resources. To date, Second Century Stewardship has supported 12 fellows whose research has contributed to park resource management and to strengthening and broadening public understanding of the importance of science for parks and society.
Proposals must be submitted by 11:59 P.M. Eastern U.S. time on October 29, 2020.
