Second Century Stewardship founder David Shaw met with Fellow Dr. Bonnie Newsom at the Whaleback shell mound in Damariscotta, Maine, to learn more about these important Wabanaki cultural sites and Newsom’s work to re-interpret archaeological collections from similar shell mounds in Acadia.
